This is a heavy duty belt that is slightly wider than the original factory belt which will give better grip than the factory belt. Wider belt sits higher in the pulley and prevents the belt from bottoming out in the pulley groove and slipping.
This drive belt runs from the fan to the alternator on 1971-1976 Cadillacs with the 472 (7.7L) or 500 (8.2L) engines.
